Ministries

OUR MINISTRIES
These are just a few of the ministries we offer at the Church of God.    When you visit, you will be given a vistors packet that will detail each ministry, and you will surely to find something in there for everyone!

YOUTH
We currently have boys and girls youth groups which meet weekly for 6th-12th grades.  We are searching for a designated Youth Pastor at this time, as we see the vital importance of helping youth find and maintain their faith in this ever changing world we live in.

PRAYER
This is a vital ministry of the church.  We have weekly prayer on Sunday mornings at 8:00am in the conference room and a monthly prayer group that meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1:30pm at the church. During this time, the intercessors bathe the church family in prayer lifting up the medical and physical needs of the members, the inner workings of the church including the leadership, Sunday School teachers, Pastor & family.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
We offer several adult Sunday School class options including women’s classes, marriage, and senior adult classes.  Our children’s Sunday School participates in KidStuf group programming once a month which helps children learn virtues that empasize making wise choices, trusting God no matter what, and treating others like they want to be treated.

SMALL GROUPS
We believe that everyone should experience growing closer in fellowship with other believers, building a Christian support system, and learning how to love and serve God better.  We offer a wide variety of small groups that range in size, age, and meeting day/time.  See the EVENTS page for group meeting date and times.

NURSERY/JUNIOR CHURCH
Each Sunday during worship service we offer nursery services for children ages birth – three years old, and Junior Church for children ages 3 through 4th grade so that parents can be fully engaged in the message.  These services are staff with volunteers who pass background checks and are who have passed mandated reporter training

MISSIONS
The missions team exists to build an awareness of needs locally, across the United States and internationally as well.  They take different teams of adult and youth to various locations and do whatever is needed.  Projects have included preparing a house for a missionary, light building, painting, sewing, tornado clean-up as well as children’s programming.

A church that knows, loves and serves God, the church, and the community.
